What an incredible photo of daddy and baby!
He says, “Look at daddy when I talk to you,” but he’s just checking if it’s his, so he needs a closer look. It’s so sweet and adorable! Lions cubs may seem cuddly, but approaching them without expertise and protection is unsafe.
How sweet
This cutie was born on July 25, 2019, at Denver Zoo, where efforts are made for their preservation, despite differing opinions on the authenticity of their habitats.
Meeting dad wasn’t easy. Some male lions aren’t gentle with their cubs, and for zookeepers, introducing a new pride member can be nerve-wracking. In the wild, males may even k.ill cubs to protect their genetic lineage.
Much love to both of them
While uncommon with their own cubs (due to shared genes), there’s a crucial moment when a father meets his cub and must recognize it as his own, a nail-biter for all involved to avoid misidentification.
So cute loving
Soooooo Beautifull
The lion daddy stooped low, displaying precious tenderness as he reached the cub’s level. Animals, with their tenderness, are truly awesome and deserving of protection and respect.
